入会規定

1. 入会資格

・大学卒業後、経済学の研究を行っていること。

・正会員2名の推薦者があること（学生会員は推薦者になれません）。

 

2. 会員種別

会員には正会員と学生会員があります。

 

3. 会費

正会員は会費12,000円、学生会員は会費6,000円 （6,000円の減免） です。大学院在籍の大学院生（若しくはそれに準ずる方）は、当該年度の在学証明書を提出すれば、その年度は学生会員として会費が減免されます。 在学証明書は入会申込と同時に、翌年度以降は毎年5月末日までに会員マイページのメッセージに添付にて事務局に提出してください。会費についての詳細は下記学会ホームページ内の「会費規定」をご確認ください。

 

 

4. 会員特典

正会員および学生会員は機関誌 Japanese Economic Review掲載論文のダウンロードが無償で可能となり、大会報告に申し込むことができます。ただし、会費減免適用の学生会員が申し込むことができるのはポスター報告のみです。学生会員が大会で一般報告を希望する場合は正会員となる必要があり、会費の減免を受けることはできません。

 

5. 入会承認の流れ

会長の承認後仮会員となり、「会費規定」に従い会費を納めた後正会員となります。（会長の承認に約1か月要します）（仮会員も大会報告申込を行うことができますが、 報告を希望する大会の開催年度の会費を 期限までに納める必要があります。）

 

6. 会計年度

会計年度は，当該年度4月1日から翌年度3月31日です。

 

7. 新規入会の会費及び納期

１　新規に入会した会員の当該事業年度の会費は、毎事業年度入会時期によって下記のように定める。

(1)  4月1日から10月31日の間の入会申込者：入会申し込み月に関わらず、年額の全額とする。会費は入会申込とともに納付する。

(2)  11月1日から3月31日の間の入会申込者：当該事業年度の会費は徴収しない。なお、翌年度の会費は4月1日から4月末日の間に納付しなければならない。

２　学生会員として会費の減免を希望する新規入会者の在学証明書の提出は、毎事業年度入会時期によって下記のように定める。

(1)  4月1日から10月31日の間の入会申込者： 仮会員登録後１か月以内

　　(2) 11月1日から3月31日の間の入会申込者：４月１日から４月末日まで

 

 

 

 

＜個人情報保護に関する基本方針＞

 

一般社団法人日本経済学会（以下、「本法人」という。）は、経済学の研究及び会員の研究交流等を行い、わが国の経済学及びその関連分野の研究・教育の発展に寄与することを目的とする団体です。本法人の取得する個人情報はこの目的に沿って使用するもので、「個人情報保護に関する法律」に基づき、個人情報に関して適用される法令及びその精神を尊重、遵守し、個人情報を適切かつ安全に取扱うとともに個人情報の保護に努めるものとします。

１ 個人情報の取得

本法人は、個人情報の利用目的を明らかにし、本人の意思で提供された情報を取扱います。

２ 利用目的及び保護

本法人が取扱う個人情報は、その利用目的の範囲内でのみ利用します。

また、利用目的を遂行するために業務委託をする場合並びに法令等の定めに基づく場合や、人の生命、身体又は財産の保護のために必要とする場合をのぞいて、個人情報を第三者へ提供することは致しません。

３ 管理体制

（１） 全ての個人情報は、不正アクセス、盗難、持出し等による、紛失、破壊、改ざん及び漏えい等が発生しないように適正に管理し、必要な予防・是正措置を講じます。

（２） 個人情報をもとに、利用目的内の業務を外部に委託する場合は、その業者と個人情報取扱契約書を締結するとともに、適正な管理が行われるよう管理・監督します。

（３） 個人情報の本人による開示・訂正、利用停止等の取扱いに関する問合せは、随時受付け、適切に対応します。

また、個人情報の取扱いに関する苦情を受付ける窓口を設け、苦情を受付けた場合には、

適切かつ速やかに対応いたします。

４ 法令遵守のための取組みの維持と継続

（１） 本法人は、個人情報保護に関する法令及びその他の規則に則った業務運営に努めて参ります。

（２） 本法人が保有する個人情報を保護するための方針や体制等については、本法人の事業内容の変化及び事業を取巻く法令、社会環境、ＩＴ環境の変化等に応じて、継続的に見直し、改善します。

個人情報の収集、管理、利用等について

 

本通知は、一般社団法人日本経済学会（以下「本学会」といいます）による会員に関する個人情報の収集、管理、利用、保護方法、および個人情報に関する会員の権利について定めたものです。

 

本通知は、本学会が会員について収集または管理するすべての個人情報に適用されます。個人情報とは、個人を合理的に特定し得る情報または情報の組み合わせをいいます。

 

1. 本学会が利用する個人情報

 

本学会は、さまざまな情報源から会員に関する個人情報を収集します。これには、会員本人から（お問い合わせいただいた際などに）直接収集する情報のほか、Editorial Managerから収集する会員に関する情報（「Japanese Economic Review」（以下「JER」といいます）への掲載を目的として、Editorial Managerを通して投稿された論文に関連する情報）が含まれます。

 

1.1 会員本人から直接収集する情報

 

会員本人から直接収集する情報には次のものが含まれる場合があります。

 

(a) 個人に関する情報（氏名、生年月日など）

(b) 連絡先（電話番号、メールアドレス、自宅住所、勤務先住所、携帯電話番号など）

(c) 学歴（大学または大学院名、卒業年月など）

(d) 職務に関する情報（職位、所属機関の名称、勤務先住所、著書目録など）

(e) 財務情報（銀行口座情報など）

 

1.2 他の情報源から収集する情報

 

他の情報源から収集する情報には次のものが含まれる場合があります。

 

(a) 個人に関する情報（氏名、生年月日など）

(b) 連絡先（電話番号、メールアドレス、自宅住所、勤務先住所、携帯電話番号など）

(c) 学歴（大学または大学院名、卒業年月など）

(d) 職務に関する情報（職位、所属機関の名称、勤務先住所など）

 

2. 個人情報の利用方法および利用の根拠

 

本学会は次の目的で個人情報を利用します。

 

(a) 本学会への入会資格を判断するため

(b) JERへの掲載を目的として投稿された論文の審査および編集のため

(c) 採択された論文のJERへの掲載のため

(d) 会員からの問い合わせや要請に対応するため

(e) 本学会の会員にJER等を配布するため

(f) 会員を本学会や他の学術団体が授与する賞、および他の学術団体への入会に推薦するため

(g) 本学会の年次大会や総会の案内を配布するため

(h) 本学会が法的義務に従い、規制当局や法執行機関に協力するため

(i) 本会の年会費等の手続を行うため

 

本学会が個人情報を処理するためには法的根拠が必要です。ほとんどの場合、法的根拠は次のいずれかとなります。

 

(a) JERを提供するなど、会員に対する本学会の義務を果たすため

(b) JERの出版社に対する本学会の契約上の義務を果たすため

 

3. 個人情報に関する会員の権利

 

会員には、現地法に基づき本人の個人情報に関する一定の権利が認められます。これには次の権利が含まれます。

 

・個人情報の閲覧

・個人情報の修正

・個人情報の削除

・個人情報の利用制限

・個人情報の利用拒否

・使用可能な電子形式での個人情報の取得、および第三者への送信（データポータビリティ権）

・現地データ保護当局への苦情申し立て

 

お預かりしている個人情報に変更または誤りがある場合、情報を更新または修正させていただきますのでご連絡ください。

 

ご要望にお応えするために追加の情報が必要な場合はご連絡いたします。

4. 情報の共有

 

次に該当する場合、個人情報を第三者と共有する場合があります。

 

・サービスプロバイダーおよび提携先。本学会に業務を提供するサービスプロバイダーおよび提携先と一部の個人情報を共有する場合があります。

 

・査読者。JERへの掲載を目的として投稿された論文の審査を依頼された査読者と一部の個人情報を共有する場合があります。

 

・編集者。JERへの掲載を目的として投稿された論文の審査および編集のため、JERの編集者と一部の個人情報を共有する場合があります。

 

・出版社。採択された論文をJERへ掲載し、JERの出版社に対する本学会の契約上の義務を果たすため、出版社と一部の個人情報を共有する場合があります。

 

・法執行機関、裁判所、規制当局、政府当局その他第三者。法律または規制上の義務に従うため、または本学会や第三者の権利を保護するために必要と本学会が判断した場合、これらの関係先と個人情報を共有する場合があります。

 

本学会は国際的に開かれた活動を行っているため、上記の第三者が会員とは異なる司法管轄下にある場合があります。詳しくは下記「海外へのデータ転送」のセクションをご覧ください。

 

5. 海外へのデータ転送

 

会員の個人情報は、欧州連合法では十分な水準の個人情報保護が確保されるとはみなされない国に転送され、保管、処理される場合があります。

 

会員の情報が十分に保護されるよう、適用される法的要件に従い適切な保護措置（契約上の義務の設定など）を講じています。本学会による保護措置の詳細につきましては、下記窓口までお問い合わせください。

Membership

 

The following rules for applications, membership fee, and privacy notice were originally written in Japanese and translated into English for reference purposes.　If there is any conflict or inconsistency between these two texts, the Japanese text shall prevail.

 

Individual Membership Applications

1. Qualifications: To apply for an individual membership, you must satisfy all of the following conditions.

(1) You graduated a university or college. (You have a bachelor's degree.).

(2) Your research area is economics.

(3) You are referred by two regular members of the Japanese Economic Association (JEA).

2. Membership types: Regular membership and student membership.

3. Fees: The annual membership fee (April to March) is JPY 12,000. The reduced student membership fee is JPY 6,000. To be eligible for a student membership, please send the certificate of your student status for the relevant academic year to the JEA Secretariat Office via the “My Page” section of the JEA Web Site. When you apply for a membership, the certificate of your student status should be sent at the same timing of the application. To continue your student membership, the certificate of your student status should be sent until the end of May every year. For details, please refer to:

4. Members' Privileges: Both types of members receive a subscription to the Japanese Economic Review. Both types of members can submit and present the paper(s) at our bi-annual meetings. For graduate students who paid a student discount membership fee (6,000JPY), only poster sessions are available to register. Graduate students who paid a regular membership fee (12,000 JPY) can submit the paper(s) to paper session.

5. Official approval: JEA officially approves memberships by the president, after the payment of the membership fee.

6.Provisional members are able to apply a presentation at a meeting before the official approval. Note that provisional membership as well as a presentation may be cancelled without the payment of the membership fee.

 

Membership Fee Rules

1. The JEA accounting year is from April to March.

2. The annual membership fee is JPY 12,000. The reduced student membership fee (JPY 6,000) is applicable to graduate students upon receipt of a certificate of their student status for the relevant academic year.

3. A former member who wishes to join the JEA must pay all outstanding fees, if any.

4. New members must pay the full amount of the annual membership fee, depending on the timing of the application of your membership as follows.

Application from Apr.1 to Oct. 31: Please pay the annual membership fee promptly.

Application from Nov.1 to March 31: No membership fee is charged in the current accounting year. Please pay the annual membership fee during the next April.

New student members must submit the certificate of your student status for the relevant academic year as follows.

Application from Apr.1 to Oct. 31: at the same time of the application

Application from Nov.1 to March 31: during the next April.

・distribute JER to JEA members

・recommend you for prizes awarded by JEA and other academic bodies, and for membership of other academic bodies

・distribute to you announcements of JER meetings and conferences

・comply with legal obligations to which we are subject and cooperate with regulators and law enforcement bodies

・carry out the administrative procedures necessary for the operation of the Society (including, but not limited to, procedures related to the payment of annual membership fees)

 

We must have a legal basis to process your personal information. In most cases the legal basis will be one of the following:

Your rights over your personal information

・Publisher.  We may share certain of your personal information with the publishers of the Journal, to facilitate the publication of your manuscripts accepted for publication in the Journal and meet our contractual obligations to the publishers.

・Law enforcement agency, court, regulator, government authority or other third party. We may share your personal information with these parties where we believe this is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party.

Because we operate as part of a global business, the recipients referred to above may be located outside the jurisdiction in which you are located. See the section on "International Data Transfer" below for more information.
